A Little Denial.

A free verse poem, Tony Malzone

Too long and so overdrawn. New dawn, but what's wrong? Indecisive, incompetent, and divided. I never confided, what it’ll be like, I guess that just didn’t feel right. There’ll never be a fight, to untie the knot, not so tight. I don’t know where it’s going, but I choose not to worry. But honestly, sometimes I feel like it’s a hurry. I don’t know why, but I never seem to shy, away from the story, is it even worthy? It’s been a while, and to be honest, that kinda makes me smile. But what’s a life without a little denial?
