It's over, Kanye.
A free verse poem, Tony Malzone
Intolerable that you'd be able, to say those words and still wish for a world stable. To speak the words of Jesus, make an album Yeezus, but now your career is just our grievous. You said you were a genius, I wish we knew you just meant extremist. The old Kanye we miss. The straight from the soul Kanye, not this. The one Donda kissed, damn, I wish it never came to this. You were an inspiration, you bonded a generation, you had us captivated, like when you
dropped Late Registration. From Chi-town we were proud, you spoke our name out loud. But I'll never let antisemitism be part of this crowd. Because I'm no longer proud. I hate to say your name out loud. I wish I was never part of your shroud. You did the unspeakable, unbelievable, I just don't know how you sleep at night when you add to a world so hateful. So yea I'll say it, Ye, I miss the old Kanye, straight from the go, Kanye. Because you completely fell off, Kanye. Forever, I stand with my Jewish friends. Antisemitism will not be tolerated.
